Erin Phillips believes that stories teach the heart to believe, and tries to fill every second with stories, whether it’s an audiobook while cleaning, a movie with her hubs, or just snuggling up with a good book. And she is not afraid of a dark story as long as there is also hope.
She wrote her debut fantasy novel, The Keeper, during the 2013 NaNoWriMo event, and published a stand-alone sequel, The Varken, in 2017. In 2019, Erin published Polarity, her first suspense speculative fiction novel, after taking Ted Dekker’s The Creative Way writing course.
In 2022, Erin published A Crown of Chains, a fantasy retelling of the Biblical story of Esther, and A Bond of Briars, a fantasy retelling of Ruth, slated for October 24, 2023.

Besides writing novels, she also writes and publishes Christian musicals with her husband at The Faithful Troubadour Publications. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Costume Design & Technology, and lives in North Carolina with her husband, Jeremy, and their happy corgis, Parker and Fable.
